Jesmond Dene: Wire Orb (by Alexis Peace Hall)
Spent FIVE HOURS around Holyrood Park, Edinburgh tonight! In those many hours I only clocked over a gig on my memory card, and that’s in RAW!!!! It’s half five in the morning here and I’m really tempted to make a raging hot curry for breakfast, it’d go great with the Sam Miguel that I’m sipping on. This gif is only a sample of a few shots, got some awesome stuff done tonight, injuries included.

Wow, this came out really small! This shot was a bit of a fail as you can tell by the end, a big chuck of the wool came flying out.

Had a little play with some wirewool this afternoon at the Innocent Tunnel in Holyrood Park. It’s nice to be able to do this during the day for a change. Edinburgh is so awesome for this kind of thing!
Also, it kind of looks like the Eye of Sauron!
Found a new location to do some wire wool spinning. It’s now a cycle path, and rather than me explain its history just watch this video for a brief low down. It’s down by Holyrood Park and pretty awesome, and really, really cool. Blazing hot today, but down there it was lovely and cool after a long walk.

Got lazy and didn’t go out to spin. Well I did but the shutter didn’t go off and had to dash right after so this is all I got done tonight. More things to come tomorrow night I’m sure.
Is wire wool made from metal sheep? (by giftedserenitybox)
Second attempt at wire wool spinning last night. It had been raining all day so it was ideal for some spinning.
