Went out shooting last night, and had to call it an early one since I fell top to toe in a river. Camera gear was safely on a bridge and out of the way. This was the best of the bunch from the night, and it’s shite. Lesson learned!

Last bit of light painting that I did a few nights ago. Still needs a lot of work and practice but I’m getting there slowly.

The weather is rubbish today, so little chance of doing any light painting tonight. So dug out the tubes and tried a little close up wire wool burning. Sorry for the soften of the images, the depth of field is very small and the vibrations from me moving the wool around meant it couldn’t be so sharp.

It would have been nice to stop down a little more, but my Cokin ND’s are plastic, not glass. So don’t want any sparks getting on them.

As of now this is the best orb I’ve spun so far. Getting a lot better with the little amount of times I’ve done it. So happy so far! 

I really thought I was on to something with my new orb making tool. A painting roller handle and rod, with the lights on the end. Sadly I can’t get enough of a strong spin on it making it really gappy and wobbly. Freehand it is then!
