We have a pair of Great Tit’s feeding their youngin’s in our newest box that the RSPB kindly sent us for nout a few months ago. Didn’t ask for it, it just showed up in the post.

We originally thought that it was too close to some of the feeders, as our garden is very busy throughout the day, so thought all the traffic might be a negative impact on the chicks. But seems all good so far. They must be hungry since the adults are in and out of the box a lot.

Newcastle isn’t all that bad at times.

Went for another walk today in the snow. No idea how long it’s going to be around, so taking every chance I can to walk around in it. It’s been snowing a week straight in Newcastle, a first in such a long time.

Lots of snow here, lots and lots of snow. Supposed to be taking a 30 mile walk this week but little chance of that any time soon with this weather. On the plus side I’ll be back in Edinburgh next week to see a documentary film on Don McCullin at the Film House.

Had some fun in the snow tonight. Not the best, but still fun. 

So much snow! So glad I can dick around in it!

Not a single footprint in the kids play park today. Too much fun everywhere else with all the snow!
