So this will be my journey in the summer, on foot! Well not quite, I’ll be walking the distance around the coast from Newcastle to Edinburgh. Just from my local high street it’s 117 miles to Edinburgh, which is a pretty descent straight line, but I’ll be traveling via the coast, which adds a lot of mileage. Trying to figure out how long it’ll take me to walk the distance, guessing I’ll be walking for around 12 hours a day, and considering I’ll be shooting during the whole walk which will take up a lot of time when you add it up all together it’s safe to say it’ll be at least three days.

I’m waiting until the summer in order get into shape for it and also so that the weather will be better. I’m not all that out of shape, just not good for this kind of thing. Also, shortly after the summer its the Great North Run in Newcastle, and Mud Madness (a 12 mile obstacle course) in Edinburgh, which I’ll be training for both anyway.

I do love a good walk but this is something else all together I know. When it gets closer to the final date I do this, I’ll have a blog set up just for that and the warm up to it also, as well a charity I’ll be raising money for along side it. Might as well tie in something good with this.

So support during this mission will be greatly appreciated, and I’ll keep you guys updated as things progress.
